Fields of Thunder Airshow

Also known as the Iowa Air Show, this event marks the return of a large-scale air show to Central Iowa for the first time since 1991, hosted at the 132nd Wing’s Des Moines Air National Guard Base. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels headline both days; ticket sales were expected to open in fall 2026, with the full support-act lineup still to be announced.
